Winner of the international design competition for the Egyptian Museum in Turin, celebrating the museum’s 200th anniversary.
The project encompasses a series of significant interventions designed to modernize and enhance the museum. The centerpiece is a new steel and glass roof that will enclose the central courtyard of the historic building, creating a dynamic new space while maintaining the building’s architectural heritage. In addition to this key feature, the project includes several other improvements aimed at upgrading the museum’s infrastructure and enriching the visitor experience.
The winning design, recognized for its innovative approach and comprehensive final proposal, is the result of collaborative efforts by a diverse team of Italian and international architectural firms, bringing together a wealth of expertise to elevate one of Italy’s most esteemed cultural institutions.
