During the redevelopment of the ASSET Bank new headquarters in Gualdicciolo (Republic of San Marino), the architects designed a new shelter for the bus stop. MEW performed the whole engineering of the project until the execution of the workshop drawings. Much attention was paid to the slenderness of the structure and its aeroelastic interaction with wind.

The structure was conceived entirely of steel, by realizing it with steel sheets forming the outer casing and by internal ribbing stiffening. All sheets were welded and the entire structure was built entirely in the workshop and transported on site in a single element. The project was made through the 3D drawing techniques from which a detailed calculation with a finite element model was also obtained. The analyzes provide the wind-structure dynamic interaction according to the latest European standards.
