In the heart of Bologna there is an old place dedicated to the local market. Recently there was the need to restore this place and to give it the consistency of a new restaurant by inserting an accessible mezzanine.

The structure was conceived by the Architect reminiscent of an old railway station roof, detailing all the structures with similar material and shapes. The mezzanine rises up one floor above the ground, and it is accessible by one stair and a lift, and its columns are misaligned to the main grid of the floor due to accessibility for the living area of the ground floor. All structures are made up of welded plates shaped with cad techniques and cut by cnc devices.
