Architect Tchoban was looking for a local engineering firm able to manage all structures and envelopes for the new dressing of the Russian Pavilion for the exhibition  in Venice: MEW was selected for this project.

The scope of this dressing was to get an architectural exhibition room without any physical and concrete drawing nor mock-up. It was a virtual exhibition where special panels were lit, showing a QR code which could be captured with a smart phone or a tablet. The message appearing on the device could be a drawing, an image, a movie or a link to some desired site. Some panels contained the same message and after a certain time they would be switched off or appear with a new message. Mew managed all behind structures, all panels and on site co-ordination of works.
